The Most Instagrammable Spots in the Caribbean
It’s no secret that the Caribbean islands are some of the most beautiful destinations on earth, with lush emerald forests, white sandy beaches, and the turquoise sea making these spots of immense natural beauty. Yet even within these islands there are locations that really stand out, locations that will bring out your inner photographer and have you snapping away to capture the perfect Instagram worthy photo.
Pitons, Saint Lucia
Majestic volcanic peaks that dominate the landscape, the Pitons in Saint Lucia provide the perfect dramatic backdrop for any photo. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Pitons are a symbol of Saint Lucia, and arguably one of the best ways to view them is from the sea on a cruise.
Dunn’s River Falls, Jamaica
One of the most popular attractions in Jamaica, make sure to pay a visit to Dunn’s River Falls and watch as water cascades down the different stair-like levels. Splash about in the river which also has historical significance as the location of the Battle of Las Chorreras.
Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park, Grenada
It may be a little tricky to get a photo of this one, considering it’s underwater, but if you have a waterproof camera ensure it’s at the ready. Go snorkelling at this ecological underwater sculpture park and admire the different artworks that are to be found tehre.
Blue Hole, Jamaica
A hidden gem located in the hills of Jamaica, the Blue Hole is a swimming hole on an almost unnatural shade of blue set against the vibrant green of Jamaica’s forests. For nature lovers this is a must visit spot full of great photo opportunities.
Pig Beach, the Bahamas
Something that has made itself onto many of bucket lists is swimming with pigs, and this is something you can tick off in the Exumas, Bahamas. Get up close and personal with these funny creatures on Pig Beach and get the perfect selfie with your new four-legged friend.
Of course there are plenty more picturesque spots to be found in the Caribbean, and we’d love you to share your finds with us using the hashtag #SandalsMoment. To book your next trip to the Caribbean, click here.
