Sandals & Beaches Celebrate PADI® Women’s Dive Day
The Caribbean's most comprehensive scuba diving program supported PADI’s Women's Dive Day on July 18th during a weeklong exclusive offer to female guests of Sandals and Beaches Resorts.
Did you know women account for only 38% of the world’s diving community? As one of the leading partners in PADI certifications in the Caribbean, Sandals and Beaches have committed to dispelling the notion that diving is just for men. In support of PADI’s Women’s Dive Day on July 18th, female guests that stayed at Sandals or Beaches Resorts from July 13th - July 18th received up to 20% off the Discover Scuba Diving program, as well as 10% off PADI® certification and other courses.
Whether an avid scuba diver or a novice, women across the United States and Canada plunged into the Caribbean’s crystal clear waters.
While in the Caribbean, these women explored shipwrecks in St Lucia and underwater caves or sculpture gardens on the seafloor of both Grenada and the Bahamas. Two friends from West Point, Florida, Lisa and Carol, took a group dive led by a female instructor at Sandals Ochi Beach Club.
Although they do not consider themselves experienced divers, the guests could not stop raving about their underwater adventure, the beauty of the reefs in Jamaica and the superb guidance they received from the Sandals AquaCenter diving staff.
Share your underwater adventures and use the hashtags #BeachesAquaCenter or #SandalsAquaCenter when posting your favorite water sport experiences on social media
